AS ABOVE SO BELOW

Freeing yourself from the shame of the shadow

Expressing oneself in a full spectrum of authentic humanness can get messy.

And in our society it's not cool to be a human. Everything is sterile, needs to be clean, in a box, controllable and definable.

Its considered weak to show emotions. Its considered shameful to misbehave.

But we all do it.

We all have emotions, and we all have harmful behaviors in one way or another.

Its actually totally normal.

As above so below.

Yes we have a brain, but we also have a heart and a gut.

And a womb to create.

We have light side and we have a dark side.

No matter how you express your gender,

we all have a feminine side and a masculine side.

Dark side is often associated with behaviors of self-sabotage, limiting beliefs we live by that hold us back, and harmful self dialog to keep us small in the world.

Understanding all the parts is powerful for obtaining the awareness needed to move things forward.

We are spiritual beings having a HUMAN experience. When we die we return to the all knowing divine energy. When we are born our souls receive a physical body and an ego consciousness to feel a separation from all things.

Are we not the sum of all of our parts?

In our culture we highlight BRAIN Intelligence, IQ, education and business-related, or financial related status. The brain can be on either side, it can argue anything, and it can create whatever story it needs. Its meant to have some direction from the intuitive gut sense and the heart-space. Too much of our energy be spent on the mental side of our lives can burn us out or have us spinning our wheels constantly. This is not honoring the experience of being a human who can feel, and who has a heart.

So feel ALL OF IT!

Learn to navigate the waters of rough emotions. Learn to turn into the heart and create from the heart-space.

Allow bad feelings to be felt, instead of stuffing it away out of shame for your own feelings. Can you just sit in the darkness and learn from it?

It has something for you.

That clarity is GOLD.

At the end of this life, all that matters is "How did you love?"

When you are laying on your death bed, looking back on the life you lived, what will matter the most? The degree you earned in college? The years you spent building your business empire? The new cars you bought? The houses you lived in?

OR

How you loved? Experiences? Loved ones?

Because in the end the SOUL reflects on its own values. Values of the SOUL are spiritually based, rooted in love, growth and expansion.

To know your SOUL is to KNOW your values.

So you can shift more of your experiences to those based on your own values. You create that everyday, whether you are aware or not aware.

So when we say As Above, So Below - release the shame in emotional feelings, and begin to get curious about why you are having them. Sit down with those emotions and start journaling.

Get to know your inner-self and see what happens next.
